Connect to Network Error

Did you get a Connect to Network error? If so, try the following:

  • If you are connected to Wi-Fi, try disconnecting, waiting a few minutes, then reconnecting the Wi-Fi from the device. (Also airplane mode if you are on cellular data)
  • Ensure you have the most updated version of the game from the App Store. 
  • Relaunch the game. 
  • Restart your device.

As a last resort, you can restart your router as we have seen that also fix this issue.

Unless your game is connected to Facebook, we advise against uninstalling the game to resolve this issue.

    I've done everything that is suggested and still says not connected. I lost where I was when I uninstalled as the last resort. Not only does it say not connected I cannot use my diamonds the app freezes so I have to close the app and reopen just to get out of the app. I am pretty frustrated as I like playing the game but can't when I can't use my diamonds for extra plays especially when I'm on a difficult level and I only need a couple more moves to beat it and I can't use my diamonds to do so.  If this doesn't get fixed soon I will have to just delete the app and find something else

    I have the same problem as Cheryl.  This is the second time this "not connected " has happened.  Completely frustrated.  I, too, am going to uninstall one more time, then just delete it if it happens again.

    I have the same problem. I cannot connect to Facebook or internet. The help desk always blames the connection- they don't have a fix apparently. I even tried purchasing more moves...right before it disconnected. Lost $ too. It's a shame, it's a fun game. Maybe since my iPad is older? Should be a warning that it doesn't stay connected with older iPads.

    I'm having the exact same problem. I've tried to connect to my Facebook account but it keeps saying not connected. In order to move your o next level you are being asked to connect to Facebook. Very frustrated.

    I was given a special's game to play I won all five levels and claimed the reward in the yellow gift boxes but level five is making me play again

    I have this game for 29 days straight. Sept 7, I play at 5am and purchase extra moves but now it's sept 8 12:56 am and I have start over because it said I missed a day.This has happen to me before

    I have this disconnecting problem now for more then a moth, dont receive any gift .I have done everything you say to dissolved the problems but nothing helps. My level is 171 dont feel like to start over again, done that at the beginning and thats not a solution, please help us!!

    My game won’t even load. It keeps coming up with a bunch of error messages. At the top of the screen it says “Game Initialization Failed!”
    “Please contact customer support”
    I tried all of that. I have been on 3 different wifi’s so it’s not that issue. I closed out of the program completely & went back in.

    Finally get new levels and then the game won't open. I'm done; this app takes up too much phone room to sit and wait. It's a shame; such a great game. Bye bye!

    I can play my ass off , get nothing, no connection 😖😖😖😖 . I’m done ✅ I’m uninstalling and finding something else to play .

    I have to delete and re-download the game every time I want to play. I’ve tried doing a soft reset on my phone. I’ve tried just turning it off and back on. I check for updates. This problem start after the last update which came a day or two after I started playing. Can you try to fix this please. I’m playing on an iPhone 6s.

    I have try to connect but it will not let me said for me to contact support group. I have been on this fireflies for couple of months I have clear the board I don't remember. How many times I am about to delete this game because you cannot get no one to help me. Can you please help

    Hi , im have bold moves game in my mini ipad this the first time no let me play I'm love the game when I'm going play the game said contact support them give me this number.

    Just deleted Bold Moves as no matter what I do it will not connect and I've lost 102 levels which took 6 months to reach!! No way am I starting over again as I see many other users having the same problem. Also received no response after submitting 2 requests to resolve. It's all too hard so GOODBYE BOLD MOVES, which is a shame as it's a good game when it works. Very frustrating and judging from many similar (and old) posted comments, it appears that nothing is being done to resolve the problem. Too bad, so sad.

    Forgot to mention in my last post that I have already uninstall & reinstalled the game 3 times in 8 months, having to start at level 1 again each time. Not doing it a 4th time.

    I'm having the same problems and mentioned above.  I'm really surprised this hasn't been corrected considering the number of complaints.  This has turned something into that was once enjoyable to frustrating.  I trust someone will correct this problem.

    I have tried everything to connect to the internet, followed all the tips. I love this game but when I have tried to connect, I lost all progress, I had 50 diamonds and now there are none... please fix this problem..

    I was signed kn and playing,and for no reason the game shut down. I got right back on but,couldn’t play because it said I lost a life. NOT MY FAULT! THE GAME TURNED OFF, I DIDN’T TURN ME OFF. I WANT MY LIFE BACK. Thank you, Sylvia.

    Ok I solved the problem. 

    Ipad

    1) Go to Facebook app.

    2) settings

    3) Accounting settings

    4) apps

    5) apps, websites, and games

    6) click edit

    7) turn off

    8) turn back on

    Go to Bold Moves app. Sign in as usual and it should bring you back to where you left off.
